When I was growing up my sister and my aunt were the artist in our family. My only venture into art was drawing and coloring clothing for my fashion paper dolls. It was not until my daughter was grownup that I became interested in oil painting. I have been fortunate to have sudied under several fine artist and teachers. They have taught me to look at the world with observant eyes, visualizing how things are made and how they relate to their surroundings. My aunt is still painting at the age of 87 years old and I hope to emulate her. My paintings have brought me awards and honors at art shows.
I live with my husband Dan, at Cairo Ky. We have a daughter and a son-in-law and 2 granddaughters..
